in spite of all the positive reviews, I’m returning my ihome color-changing speakers. the sound is okay, but the big inconvenience is that it is not charging my ipod nano when it’s docked, like it is suppose to. searching through the reviews, I didn’t see any that stated this problem. perhaps I just happened to get a bad one. afterall, I did buy it used through Amazon Warehouse deals. It was classified as “like new” with the only specifics being that the package was opened. I suspect that it was returned for not working (i.e. charging the ipod). Now, the savings I gained by buying it used will be eaten up by the cost of shipping it back. So annoying!!!

we replaced a much larger dock speaker with this one to save space in a bathroom, and while we miss the better sound quality from the larger unit, the very compact size of this one and the simple design make it a nice option in tight spaces. Smaller then I expected it to be, but decent sound for its size.

My son wanted a charger/speaker for his ipod and I wanted a nice sound system for his room – not the whole house. This was perfect and he even took it on our last vacation. We have only had it for one month, so hope it works as well a year from now!

This is a fabulous product, I wouldn’t change a thing about it. In fact, I might order another one because mine ended up in the baby’s room because she liked it so much. We love the fact that it charges the Ipod while it plays music. The sound is also very clear and it has great bass for such a little speaker.
